Join Us

Friends and family come visit on our trips and sometimes strangers want to join for an adventure. Here’s how to come sailing with us!

Scheduled Trips

We have a few scheduled trips along our routes that everyone can join. It’s best to come by with a group of 3-4 people. The first and the last place on the route are fixed and this is your arrival and departure point. The places we visit along the way are mostly up to the weather and we decide them with the group underway, however we will make sure you will reach your departure point again in time.

Costs

To keep Matenka afloat year to year, we ask you for a contribution as you come visit. We take about 400 Euro per person per week for your spot on the boat. Your travel arrangements to the boat are NOT included. You will need around 150 Euro per week for contribution to food, harbor costs, fuel, etc. – the group arranges that amongst themselves on site. And of course all of your tourist expenses and eating out are on your own as well.

Getting There

Travel arrangements to the boat have to be booked individually. The arrival and departure port will be the first and the last place of your route respectively. The popular budget airlines Ryanair, Wizzair and Easyjet offer direct flights to many places along our European routes. The harbor is usually a bus ride from the city/airport. We will do our best to share as much information on the location as we can as your trip approaches, typically we will know the exact spot the day before your arrival. If you need any help making your arrangements, please let us know!
